What we keep
CasaClerk keeps the quotes people submit. That corpus is how the tool learns what a complete quote looks like and what work actually costs in each area. Here is exactly what we keep and what we do with it. Each line below is a separate choice and only the first is required.
Keep my quote so CasaClerk gets better at reading them. (required) We store the quote text, what we read from it, and what we told you. We remove your name, address, phone, email and the contractor license number before it reaches anyone working on pricing. You can have it deleted at any time. Use it, anonymised, to work out what jobs actually cost in my area. Aggregated with other quotes to build local cost ranges. Your individual quote is never published, shown to another user, or shared with a contractor. Email me about this project. Follow-ups about this quote and what happened next. We ask how the job went — that is how we learn whether our reading was right. Later, you may contact contractors on my behalf to get competing bids. Not built yet.
